Description
This long beautiful beach is characterized by fine, white sand mixed with pebbles and seashells, and is lapped by crystal clear waters. Shallow depths and a sandy sea-bottom make this place ideal for families with children. On account of the wind exposure, it is much loved by windsurfing enthusiasts. Given the abundance of fish, the northern area of the beach is called Mandra’e Pische, which means fish fence. The natural setting is unique and full of peculiarities. The wild and uncontaminated character of this place is strengthened by a system of three ponds, the mouth of a stream and peculiar rock formations. In addition to it, there are archaeological remains of ancient Nuragic settlements.
Kiosks, restaurant, water sports equipment rental, wheelchair access, car park.
