Itineray
From Pula take the SS 195 in the direction of Santa Margherita. At the 34 km mark, take the left fork near a small church. Go ahead until you get to Santa Margherita di Pula. Follow the signposts to Cala d’Ostia.
Description
The small cove, adjacent to the ruins of an ancient Spanish tower, has coarse-grained, light-coloured sand and pebbles of different sizes. It has shallow waters of colours ranging from light blue to intense green. The natural setting is very interesting. A small wood of pines and eucalyptuses located behind the beach, reinforces its wild and lonely character. Next to the ruins of the Spanish tower, collapsed for a natural event, was built in the 19th century the Tower of Cala D’Ostia.
Bar-restaurant, kiosks on the beach, car park. In the surroundings there are a lot of hotels, restaurants and campsites.
