Cross the Vittorio bridge and turn right onto viale San Bartolomeo at the end of which you will get to viale Calamosca. Upon arriving at the beach of Calamosca, continue on the left along the avenue. There starts a dirt road which ends in the proximity of a nightclub. Park the auto there and continue on foot through the path, which may present medium difficulties, starting on the left of the entrance of the nightclub.
Description
The small beach of Cala Fighera is set in a very small inlet protected from winds and sea storms. Both its shore and seabed are made up of big pebbles. Its water boasts colour shades ranging from green to intense blue. It is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy some peace or scuba-dive. It is possible to go on excursions on the Devil’s Saddle going along paths with different degrees of difficulty. Among the archaeological sites in which this territory is rich, you will find a Roman cistern, a Punic cistern, the Tower of Sant’Elia, a Second World War blockhouse and the remains of the monastery of Sant’Elia, inhabited by the Victorine monks during the 11th century.
