Itineray
From Sant’Anna Arresi follow the signposts to Porto Pino, where you will arrive after 6 km. When you reach the town, go past the left turning to the beach of Porto Pino and go on until you get to an intersection with signposts for the numerous beaches of the area. Turn right into Via Porto Pineddu. Drive along this unpaved road for about 1.5 km, until you reach a group of houses. When you get to the point where the road widens in the proximity of a kiosk, park the auto. From there follow the paved track through the pinewood and some houses, and you will get to the beach.
Description
Cala Francese is a small beach of white sand mixed with rocks. It has crystalline shallow waters of colours ranging from light blue to green and a mixed seabed. It is set in a small corner of paradise. It is embraced by a cliff covered in Mediterranean maquis which protects it from the winds, and it is backed by a lush wood of Aleppo pines. In front of the beach, the scenery is enriched by the islands of Sant’Antioco and La Vacca.
