It can be reached by ferry boats which leave from Cala Gonone, Santa Maria Navarrese, Arbatax, La Caletta di Siniscola port otherwise with one’s own boat or rented craft. If you are leaving by car from Baunei take the asphalted road of Baia Maiore following the signs for Golgo and San Pietro’s small church. Before arriving to Golgo on the right there’s a dirt road which arrives to a protected parking lot restaurant – bar – camping area Su Porteddu in the locality with the same name. From there a medium difficult hiking path starts which in 2 hours takes to Goloritzè beach. Near the parking lot, left of San Pietro’s small church there’s the shelter of the Goloritzè Cooperative which offers rooms and has a restaurant – bar.
Description
This is for sure one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean sea. This enchanting cove is characterized by light sand mixed with very small pebbles, it’s in front of the very famous and characteristic pinnacle of Punta Caroddi, called Aguglia, 143 metres high, a longed-for destination for free climbing experts from around the world. The unique azure sea has an incredibly transparent water. On the southern edge of the beach a limestone promontory covered with Mediterranean maquis ends with an incredible famous natural arc. All these elements give to this place a wild beautiful character not be missed.
