Itineray
From Carloforte take the SP 104 in the direction of Capo Sandalo. This road, after running along the western side of the saltpans adjacent to the town, goes north-westward across island’s interior, and after about 9 km it reaches the locality of Capo Sandalo. Go past the saltpans and after about 5 km turn right at the junction to Cala Vinagra. The road is unpaved and in some points its surface is very uneven. Once you have parked the auto, you should continue on foot through a very difficult path, recommended just for very expert hikers.
Description
This is a small rocky cove set at the extremity of a narrow and deep inlet. It is very well sheltered from winds and waves, and it is used for boat mooring. The seabed is incredibly beautiful and it is recommended to those who like snorkelling. It is a true corner of paradise, and not much frequented due to the difficulties faced in reaching it.
There are no facilities available.
