Description
Capo Caccia is an imposing limestone promontory, which is the westernmost point of Sardinia; the Algherians call it “lu fruntini” which means “the big forehead”. The landscape is incredibly beautiful and you can admire it from the top. The white of the stone strongly contrasts with the blue of the sea and the green Mediterranean maquis. Not far away, there’s the very white Isola Foradada (Foradada Island), so-called because of the natural cave of Palombi, which extends from one side of it to the other.
Car park.
