Cesare Cabiddu is a very original and unique wood artist from Villanovaforru (MC). His passion for art embraces the art wood carving and more precisely the techniques of carving and inlaying, with subjects that can delineate the bond with his land, Sardinia.
His works are made with typical Mediterranean woods, such as olive, lemon and juniper with their unmistakable scent, and others that come from exotic territories such as padouk and ebony.
Because of his great skills, each piece is modelled manually and joined to each other not only in shape, but above all in shades of colour, in fact Cesare hardly uses paints, thus succeeding in enhancing the colours and the characteristic scents of every type of wood.
Each of his creations is unique, inspired by the inspiration and his tireless research, his works enrich not only the senses but above all the soul.
