Arriving from mainland Sardinia at the southern access to Sant’Antioco, you will find the signposts to the beaches. If you follow the signposts, you will get on the SP 76 which goes around the island, and you will arrive in the proximity of the beaches. After taking the SP 76, go on for about 10 km, go past Cannai, and turn left at the junction to Capo Sperone. After about 200 metres turn left once again, and about 2 km later you will reach a roundabout. Turn left and continue until you get to the beach.
From Maladroxia continue along via Coaquaddus which will eventually lead you to the road to Capo Sperone. Turn left , and at the roundabout turn left again towards the beach.
Description
The beach of Coa Quaddus is made up of fine white sand. It is lapped by a transparent and crystalline sea of a light blue colour. The sea bed is sandy and the waters are shallow. Divided into two small coves by a bluff, it is located in a wild natural setting, with the surrounding promontories, covered in Meiteranean maquis , that stretch sinuously and resemble a horsetail, from which the name of the beach derives.
