Description
This beach is several kilometres long and has fine, light-coloured, golden sand. It has crystal clear waters becoming deep within short distances from the shore, and a sandy seabed. The portion of the beach adjacent to the promontory topped by the tower ‘Torre Salinas’ is better known as Cristolaxeddu. The beach is backed by hills covered in rich vegetation separating it from the pool with the same name where many different species of birds live. The entire area is much loved by bird-watchers and nature enthusiasts. In the entire oasis, which is formed by the nearby lagoons, it is also possible to go on horse treks.
