Description
This small beach boasts a narrow sandy shore, a sandy seabed and shallow waters. It is much frequented by wind- and kitesurfers thanks to its wind exposure. The seabed offers wonderful views to snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. Different species of water plants and sponges cover the seabed which is inhabited by the biggest bivalved shells of the Mediterranean, commonly known as ‘nacchere’. Some ‘nacchere’ can be up to one metre long; they are a protected species at risk of extinction, because of the excessive fishing carried out in the past.
