There are few of them, but they are all technical, spectacular and easy to reach because they are close to renowned tourist destinations.

Among the most scenic golf courses in Sardinia, two in particular deserve special mention: the first is located in Santa Margherita di Pula, about thirty kilometers southwest of Cagliari, and has hosted four editions of the Italian Open.

This is the Circolo Golf Is Molas, a short distance from the sea, considered one of the most challenging and at the same time evocative circuits in the Mediterranean, offering American-style greens and bunkers and having an elegant resort.

The complex was built in 1975 and features three different courses: an 18-hole par 72 course, a 9-hole par 36 course, and a recently completed 18-hole course. Located opposite the Sardinian capital, overlooking the clear waters of the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area, is the Tanka Golf Club Villasimius.

The scent of the sea air mingles with the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, making this unique 18-hole course, named Italy's best new course in 2007 by "Il Mondo del Golf" magazine, unique. The course extends over approximately 40 hectares. At certain points along the course, the views are truly breathtaking. Also noteworthy are the Is Arenas courses near Oristano and Pevero on the Costa Smeralda.
