Muravera, the other season

The enchanting beaches of Muravera and the marvelous environmental and natural beauty of the area are perhaps too obvious descriptions for those who have had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful land at least once. However, it is worth noting that Muravera can also be a tourist attraction during the off-season, when most of the tourists who flock to our beaches end their summer holidays and leave for the "mainland," as we Sardinians often say. It is at this time that a new tourist season begins in Muravera.

In fact, in the Muravera area, there are alternatives to traditional beach tourism, so much so that the local administration has strongly promoted the so-called "alternative season": precisely when the beach is no longer as attractive as in summer, thanks also to the extremely mild climate in spring and autumn, one can better dedicate oneself to outdoor sports: trekking, canoeing, mountain biking, canyoning, and climbing.

A network of trails has been designed and marked with special signage to offer routes for walking, cycling, or horseback riding, independently or accompanied by expert local guides. Special running routes have been created for those who practice these sports, both amateur and professional.
