Itineray
If you are leaving from Tortolì take the old SS 125 south towards Barisardo. Shortly after leaving the town there’s a well signalled road on the left that takes to Lido di Orrì. After travelling c.4 km you will arrive to the beach. Proceed for a few hundred metres, pass Lido di Orrì and Musculedda and follow the signs for Foxiglioni. Leave the car in the unpaved parking lot and continue on foot to the beach.
Description
This beach, which is more or less a km long, is characterized by grey fine sand, the sea is limpid and crystalline, the water is shallow and the sea-bottom is sandy mixed with rocks. This beach is the southern part of the sandy shore that starts with Lido di Orrì. It is divided in small coves by groups of grey granitic rocks rounded by erosion due to the sea and the winds. Behind it the Mediterranean maquis mixed to a pine forest partially covers the dune formations on which junipers grow.
