From Orosei take the SS 125 towards Siniscola. After about 9 km, shortly before reaching the junction to Cala Liberotto and Sos Alinos, you will get to the right turning to Fuile’e Mare. Continue driving for about 3 km, until you reach the car park. The beach is well signalled.
Description
This small beach, which is about 300 metres long, is characterized by fine, grey sand mixed with rocks, and is lapped by crystal clear waters. On account of the shallow depths and the sandy sea-bottom, it is an ideal place for families with children. Depending on the seasons, the Rio Sa Puzzonina flows through the beach, which is surrounded by a lush pinewood and Mediterranean maquis that cover the cliffs. The beach of Fuilie’e Mare is the last stretch of coastline characterized by pink granite. The stretch of coast located to the south of it is characterized by grey and black basaltic rock formations.
