Itineray
From the harbour of Carloforte take the coast road which runs along the south-western coastline of the island and then goes up westward until it reaches La Caletta. Go past the salt pans located just outside the town, go on for about 6.5 km and you will find on the left a signpost to the beach Geniò, written upon a large rock positioned on the side of the road. Park the auto in an unpaved car park and continue on foot along a path that will lead you to the beach.
Description
This small cove is covered in middle-grained golden sand. The transparent and crystalline sea boasts different colour shades ranging from light blue to green. The shallow waters and the sandy seabed are suitable for families with children. A distinctive feature of this place is the rock formation which, detached from the promontory that dominates the small cove, stands, isolated, on the shore.
Car park, kiosk, restaurant.
