Itineray
From Oristano, take the SS 292 in the direction of Cuglieri. Go past Riola Sardo, and follow the signposts to the pinewood of Is Arenas and the campsite Nurapolis. When you reach the campsite, park the car and continue on foot along a path leading to the beach. Continuing along the SS 292, before arriving in Torre del Pozzo, you will find a second approach road, as well as a third one located south of the tower of the village.
Description
The beach of Is Arenas is made up of fine golden sand, and is lapped by transparent waters of colours ranging from green to light blue. Shallow depths and a sandy sea bottom allow families with children to swim safely. The beach is backed by a lush and large pinewood covering the largest dunal system in Sardinia. On account of its length ( about 6 kilometres) the beach does not get much crowded. It is a wonderful place characterized by wild and uncontaminated nature.
Kiosk, car park, restaurant, campsite, wheelchair access, water sports equipment rental.
