Itineray
The Isola dell’Asinara is reachable only with authorized ferry boats that leave from Stintino and Porto Torres and arrive to Fornelli, Cala Reale and Cala d’Oliva. It is not reachable by own transport. The beach is reachable with a path that separates from the only road that crosses the island, from Fornelli, south, to Cala d’Oliva, north. It is allowed to visit but not to bathe.
Description
These two small coves are two pieces of heaven included into a protected ambiental area, so they cannot be visited nor by foot nor by boat. They both have very white sand and a crystalline azure sea, the bottom is a mix of sand and granitic rocks. In front of Cala Dorata there are two islets, the Nani island an the Sgombro island.
