Description
Cala Corsara (Privateer Cove) is characterized by very white fine sand. The sea is transparent and azure, the water is shallow and the sea-bottom is sandy. The landscape is incredibly beautiful. The beach is framed by pink granitic promontories on which a blooming vegetation climbs up. Cala Corsara consists in four beaches divided by cliffs eaten away by the atmospheric agents. Among the many shapes that the rocks assumed due to the erosion, you can admire the one shaped as a Bulldog, the Boot of Italy and the Testa della Strega (Witch’s Head) profile. The eastern edge presents a dune formation on which various floral endemic species grow. It is a true corner of heaven.
