If you are leaving from Trinità d’Agultu, take SP 39 for Paduledda and Isola Rossa. After more or less 1,5 km, you will pass the intersection with the SP 90, continue towards Paduledda. Once you have passed Paduledda, after travelling c.4 km, turn right for La Marinedda. You will arrive to the beach after more or less 2 km. If you are leaving from Isola Rossa, take SP 39 for Trinità d’Agultu. Follow the signs for La Marinedda beach nearby, turn left right after leaving the town and you will arrive to the beach after more or less 300 metres.
Description
La Marinedda beach is characterized by medium-sized grains of golden sand, and rocks spread along the shore. The sea is crystalline and it presents hues that range from emerald green to deep azure. The water is shallow and the sea-bottom is sandy, perfect for families with children. It is located between the pink cliffs of the Isola Rossa promontory, south-east, and Punta Li Canneddi, north-east, which shelter it from winds. The landscape presents a wild nature characterized by low dunes behind the beach and by the surrounding cliffs on which the Mediterranean grows with floral species, among them there’s the sea-lily.
