Park on the side of the road and continue on foot, following the path which descends on the right towards the beach and goes through a pinewood. After about 150 metres you will be able to reach the beach.
Description
The name Mari Pintau, which means ‘painted sea’, offers a good representation of this beach. Actually, once you spot its unique lively colours from the SP 17, it will be difficult not to stop there. In order to reach the beach it is necessary to follow the footpath which, descending amid the Mediterranean maquis, ends at the beach. The shore of Mari Pintau is made up of big pebbles, whereas its seabed is made up of sand; its crystal waters are characterized by a variety of colour shades ranging from emerald green to light-blue. On the hill above it, called Bruncu de su Monte Maru, there is a pinewood with a sandy soil where it is possible to rest and relax for a moment.
