The enchanting beaches of Muravera, or the splendid natural beauty of the area, may well be too gratuitous descriptions if you are so lucky as to actually visit this fantastic region, but it is worth noting that Muravera can also be a tourist attraction in another season, when the majority of the tourists who flock to the beaches conclude their summer holidays and return to the European continent – which is how we Sardinians describe the world outside – and a new tourist season starts in Muravera.

As a matter of fact, there are alternatives to the classic beach holidays in the district of Muravera, so much so that the local authorities have committed themselves solidly to the so-called “other season”: and exactly when the beach is not as attractive as in the summer – also thanks to the extremely moderate climate in spring and autumn – you can dedicate yourself to outdoor sports: trekking, canoeing, mountain biking, canyoning, climbing.

A network of tracks has been identified and laid out in printed material to offer routes to follow on foot, by bike, or on horseback, autonomously or accompanied by guides with experience in the area. Suitable running ways have been created for people who practice this sport, both at an amateur and at a professional level.
