In August 2017, CasaTodde received the Capai-Pusceddu Collection which comprises over 700 pieces.
Accumulated over the years as the result of the curiosity, the passion for collecting, and the love for the sea of the ship-owner Giorgio Capai and his wife Candida Pusceddu.
The objects, provided to the municipality of Villasimius thanks to a donation of Mrs. Maria Candida Pusceddu, find an ideal setting in the halls of Casa Todde, where they will constitute the Museo della Marina di Villasimius which, due to the number and the beauty of the artifacts, will be able to compete with similar marine-themed museums in other countries which share this tradition (UK, Portugal, etc.).

Among the exhibited pieces: compasses, rudder wheels, lanterns, a diving suit from 1916, sextants, peloruses, anchors, barometers, thermo hygrometers, astrolabes, clocks, binoculars, portholes, rocket launchers, scale models of ships, and high-end furnishing. The museum furthermore constantly acquires new pieces thanks to on-going donations.
In this manner, the marine and environmental museum becomes a tourist attraction, where knowledge of sea and coast and the passion for their conservation find a meeting place, not only for the municipality of Villasimius but also for other regions of Sardinia.
