Description
The beach of Plag’e Mesu boasts middle-grained golden sand. The crystalline sea of a light blue colour is shallow, and the seabed is sandy. On the shore there are smooth and flat rock formations that create small natural pools, where children can play safely. The scenery of this wonderful beach is characterized by the famous Pan di Zucchero, a peculiar rock formation standing in the middle of the sea at the northern extremity of the gulf of Gonnesa. The dunes behind the beach stretch for several hundred metres inland.
