If you are leaving from Arzachena take the SS 125 south towards Olbia. After more or less 5 km turn left on the SP 73 and follow the signs for Baia Sardinia. After 2 more km turn left on the SP 59 for Baia Sardinia, where you will arrive after more or less 10 km. Pass the turn-off on the left for Baia Sardinia and continue on the SP 59 towards Poltu Quatu where you will arrive after more or less 2 km. If you are leaving from Palau take the SS 125 towards Arzachena, where you will arrive after more or less 12 km. If you are leaving from Porto Cervo take the SP 59 towards Poltu Quatu, you will arrive in less than 5 km. If you are leaving from Olbia take the SS 125 north towards Arzachena. After travelling c.20 km turn on the SP 73 following the signs for Baia Sardinia.
Description
Poltu Quatu is a touristic centre that offers an equipped port in a deep and thin inlet. Poltu Quatu in fact means hidden port. The entrance of the port is spectacular, it permits to cross the whole inlet characterized by granitic walls, that drop straight down to the sea, covered with Mediterranean maquis.
Poltu Quatu offers any kind of services because is a centre which bases its economy on tourism.
