Description
Porto Paglia forms the southern extremity of the long stretch of sand of the gulf of Gonnesa. It boasts middle-grained golden sand, crystalline light blue waters and a sandy seabed. The scenery is characterized by a rocky ridge of a pink colour overlooking the beach and by odd-shaped rocks carved by erosion, scattered around this stretch of sand. At the southern extremity of the beach stands a peculiar small church called “The church of the Tonnara”, built on the rocks. The beach is backed by the old buildings of a tuna packing factory of the 1700s and by the houses of the fishermen that have nowadays been converted into residential ones.
Café, car park, equipment rental.
