If you are leaving from Palau follow the signs for Santa Teresa di Gallura, continue on the SP 123 for more or less a km. Afterwards turn right on the SS 133 for Santa Teresa di Gallura. After travelling c.4,5 km turn right on the SP 98 for Porto Pollo and L’Isuledda. You will arrive to Porto Pollo after more or less 2km, and from there to the beach next to it, which is well signalled. If you are leaving from Santa Teresa di Gallura take the SS 133bis for Palau. After travelling c.17 km turn left for Palau on the SS 133. After more or less 3 km turn left on the SP 98 for Porto Pollo and L’Isuledda.
Description
This beach is characterized by white medium-sized grains of sand. The sea is transparent and deep azure. It is exposed to the winds and very frequented by windsurf and kite surf enthusiasts, like the beach on the east side of the Isola dei Gabbiani (Seagull Island). In fact this beach is the natural continuation of the Isola dei Gabbiani (Seagull Island) beach. The landscape presents a dune system behind the beach. In front of the beach you can admire the archipelago islands of La Maddalena and the Bonifacio cliffs in Corsica.
