The marvelous protected marine area of “Capo Carbonara” which was established by the Ministry of the Environment and the Maritime Territory in 1999, is best represented by its pure and wild nature along with the richness of its flora and fauna. The protected marine area is a triangular zone that encompasses the stretch of coastline that runs from Capo Boi (Cala Pisano) to Punta Porceddus, including Isola dei Cavoli and Isola di Serpentara.
