Description
The Rocce Rosse (Red Rocks) are the natural monument most known of Arbatax and also one of Sardinia’s symbols. They are on the northern edge of the promontory of Capo Bellavista. They represent the most famous red porfid vain formations in the area. Spiaggia di Cea’s cliffs are also famous and the beach is a few km further south. Aside of Rocce Rosse the beach has coloured rocks that range from red to white. The water is crystalline and deep azure, it contrasts perfectly with Rocce Rosse’s colour. Behind Rocce Rosse there’s a square in which every year the Jazz International Festival is organized, called “Rocce Rosse & Blues”.
Kiosks, car park, refreshment places.
