If you are leaving from Baunei take the SS 125 south towards Lotzorai and Tortolì. More or less 6,5 km outside Baunei on the left there’s the turn-off for Santa Maria Navarrese where you will arrive after travelling c.3,5 km. If you are leaving from Lotzorai take the SS 125 towards Baunei. After more or less a km after leaving the town on the right there’s the turn-off for Santa Maria Navarrese where you will arrive after travelling c. 3 km. In Santa Maria Navarrese drive towards the port. The beach is at the foot of the Saracen tower further north than the port.
Description
This small beach is characterized by small light pebbles and rising rocks, the sea is limpid and crystalline, the sea-bottom is mostly rocky and these features make of this beach a destination for spear-fishing enthusiasts. It is encircled by a rich vegetation full of colours. In fact, other than the azure colour of the sea and the green of the Mediterranean maquis, you can admire the red rocks that rise from the water. The Santa Maria Navarrese tower aside of the beach is suggestive.
