Silvia Lai is an artisan, designer of unique jewels, jewellery creator.
Her laboratory is located in Cagliari in the characteristic Marina district, so called because it was once inhabited by fishermen, here you can visit and learn about the city from the most popular side, among the typical shops and restaurants.
In the unique production of Silvia Lai echoes various elements of encounter between tradition and a modern design, the sinuous and soft shapes give her jewels a particular charm and elegance to the wearer.
In her works we find the reproduction of various elements of the symbolism of archaic Sardinia: “The spiral of life”, “The spiral of harmony”, “the Mother Goddess” all combined with a personal technique in the realization that gives each jewel its own uniqueness.
Among her creations, the “Argento e Sughero” line stands out, a series of unique pieces where the worked, moulded and chromed silver embraces small cork elements, a raw material that in Sardinia constitutes hectares of woods, thus creating a splendid blend of tradition and modern design.
