From Arbus take the SP 68 in the direction of Montevecchio and Marina di Arbus. After about 9 km, you will get to Montevecchio. From there take the SP 65 to Marina di Arbus. After about 15 km go past the left junction to Marina di Arbus, and carry on towards the former settlement of Funtanazza. Go past it, continue north for about 9 km and you will reach the left turning to Torre dei Corsari. From there, follow the signposts to the beach, located to the north of the town. From Guspini, take the SS 126 in the direction of Terralba. After about 2.5 km, turn left onto the SP 65 to Sant’Antonio di Santadi. Follow the signposts to the Torre dei Corsari, where you will arrive after about 30 km.
Description
This beach is made up of golden sand, and is lapped by deep crystalline waters, beneath which lies a sandy sea-bottom. Characterized by a very large and beautiful dunal system covered in Mediterranean maquis, it owes its name to the nearby Torre Flumentorgiu (Flumentorgiu Tower). Stretching north, it reaches the town of Pistis becoming Is Arenas’ e S’Acqua’e S’Ollastu.
